Back in 2001, couple Neil Kleinberg and DeDe Lahman decided to open their own place, with the mission of having the best baking goods around the city. Little by little people started word of mouthing the place and sooner than they could ever imagine, Clinton St Baking Co. was a hot spot, filled with people.
Every Sunday at Clinton St Baking Co.is crowded: no exceptions. With waiting lists that can get up to 3 and a half hours and no shorter than 40 minutes wait, and a ‘cash only’ police, you would assume that people would give up or complain; so wrong! The place is still a success; located at Clinton Street #4, many customers will drop off their names with the host and go for a shopping run for an hour or so before they get a table. Believe me when i say: It’s worthy! Every second of the usually long waits are so worthy. With a variety in their Menu and mouthwatering dishes, Clinton St Baking Co. has the best food (quality wise and flavor wise) that i have yet eaten in NYC. You can’t miss, anything on the Menu will be dangerously (to those who count calories, haha) delicious.
Elected “Best Breakfast/ Brunch” by Time Out NY in 2007 and “Best Pancakes by New York Magazine in 2008, Clinton St Baking Co. is not just a breakfast place, but it’s open during lunch hours. Now, you must check it out their goods yourself; make sure to go there when visiting NYC, i assure you – you’ll love it.
And much more…If you are interested in their Menu, visit: http://www.clintonstreetbaking.com/
Hope you enjoyed the savory tip,
